Customer Service Officer – Retail

Riverina Water Engineering is looking for an experienced Customer Service Officer to assist our growing retail team.

Key Responsibilities and job tasks:
• Provides high level customer service including advice based on their qualification level and expertise

Oversees Appearance / cleanliness to a high standard for:
• Retail shop

Helps maintain appearance / cleanliness of branch to a high standard for:
• Back Shed.
• Inwards goods area.
• Extra stock side shed.
• Extra stock upstairs.
• Organisation of all areas of the yard.

Completes the necessary paperwork for all stock transactions:
• Customer Sales.
• Pool Testing.
• Customer Credits / Returns.
• Customer Payments.
• Stock Receipts.
• Stock / Sales Order Purchase Orders.
• Receipt in delivery dockets when required to.
• Maintain high level / Return calls & quotes.
• Cycle count’s to be done on a regular basis on different areas through mini stocktakes.
• Oversee maintaining stock levels on shelves.
• Help with putting stock away in correct areas.
• Oversee Ordering of stock to be done daily/weekly.
• Maintain the existing bin location system.
• Control new stock coming in with labels & locations.
• Maintain stock labelling on shelves.
• Create sales repairs for customers maintaining high level of information.
• Order all materials for service repairs when required, using forecast based orders.
• Help Hayden maintain quarantine area so extra stock can be returned back to Suppliers.
• Help make sure returning stock is in Location 5.
• Assists Retail Manager in preparation of annual and periodic stock takes.
• Undertakes periodic stock count and check as directed by the Retail Manager.
• Investigates and reports any stock count variance to the Retail Manager.
• Helps Communicate and co-ordinates delivery of products to customers and projects with third party carriers.
